Supply Chain Internship

Founded in 1994, Groupe PARIMA is a company specializing in contract development and manufacturing. Over the years, we have developed strong expertise in the development of non‑sterile pharmaceutical products, including liquid, semi‑solid, and suspension dosage forms.

The Supply Chain Intern supports the Buyer and the Operations team in procurement activities, order follow‑up, and the updating of internal systems and documentation, in order to ensure an efficient flow of raw materials and packaging components.


Key Responsibilities

Purchasing and Procurement Support

  • Assist the Buyer in the creation and follow‑up of purchase orders.
  • Perform regular follow‑ups with suppliers regarding delivery dates, shipment confirmations, and potential delays.
  • Update tracking tools related to purchase orders, receipts, and inventory levels.

Receiving and Documentation Management

  • Maintain receiving documentation up to date (delivery slips, certificates of analysis, invoices as required).
  • Coordinate with the Finance department regarding required documentation.
  • Ensure communication between suppliers, the warehouse, and operations to plan and confirm deliveries.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to resolve receiving discrepancies and support data entry when required.

Internal Material Tracking and Coordination

  • Follow up with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams regarding testing status and material release.
  • Update the status of raw materials and packaging components in the MRP system based on test progress and receipts.

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate purchase order and inventory data in the MRP system.
  • Participate in the drafting and/or improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs related to the use of the MRP system).

Required Qualifications

  • Currently studying or holding a diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple follow‑ups simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills required.
  • Knowledge of an MRP/ERP system (asset).
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or manufacturing environment (asset).
