Intermediate Operator – Day, Evening and Night Shift

Groupe PARIMA is a company specializing in contract development and manufacturing since 1994. Over the years, we have developed strong expertise in non-sterile pharmaceutical products in liquid, semi-solid, or suspension form.

Intermediate Operator

Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM

Evening shift schedule: 3:00 PM to 11:15 PM

Night shift schedule: 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM
No rotating shifts!

The Intermediate Operator ensures optimal operation of the production line, maintains equipment performance, ensures product quality, and contributes to the continuous improvement of processes.

Responsibilities:

Equipment Mastery:

  • Achieve full proficiency on all production lines, including understanding and operating all equipment (filling machine, labeling machine, serialization, etc.).

Line Setup:

  • Be able to set up the production line according to established procedures, ensuring compliance with production standards.

Documentation:

  • Record completed operations and obtained results to effectively track production line performance.

Mentoring:

  • Support and train other operators on all line equipment, share best practices, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Equipment Performance:

  • Be responsible for equipment performance, monitor operations, and optimize processes to ensure efficient, high-quality production.

Deviation Documentation:

  • Document and report any deviations from procedures or performance to the team lead or supervisor, suggesting improvement solutions.
  • Substitute for assistants and other operators as needed
  • Perform any other relevant operational tasks

Skills and Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience on a production line in the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, or related industry
  • Strong interest in production equipment mechanics
  • Ability to plan and organize work effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of GMP and workplace health and safety regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of assembling and disassembling equipment
  • Ability to analyze mechanical issues and propose quick, effective solutions
  • Ability to clearly document and communicate deviations and performance issues to teams and supervisors
  • Ability to mentor colleagues, fostering a learning and continuous improvement environment
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
  • Proficient in French
  • English proficiency is an asset
  • Able to lift at least 10 kg
