Electromechanic
- Responsible for providing electrical and mechanical services to production.
- Participate in the program for purchasing, installing, qualifying, validating, calibrating, and maintaining equipment.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of equipment and processes.
Responsibilities:
- In charge of performing and monitoring maintenance and calibration of equipment, buildings, and utilities
- Prepare purchase/modification documents and track parts for equipment in production.
- Document changes to production equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Participate in the qualification/validation of production equipment and systems.
- Support process validation and cleaning validation activities.
- Contribute and implement ideas and solutions to improve production efficiency and safety.
- Participate in the preparation of bids and search for new production equipment
- Act as a resource person for technical support to Production/Operations/Research and Development
- Meet deadlines and schedules agreed upon with operations managers for parts orders, installation, testing, and all deliverables
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Any other tasks deemed relevant
Skills and experience required:
- Degree in mechanical or mechanical/electrical engineering
- License as an electrician and industrial mechanic
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an equipment mechanic, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of industrial electrical installations, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs
- Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Formal training in PLC logic and troubleshooting
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Bilingual (French and English)
