Production Manager

Groupe PARIMA has been active in development and contract manufacturing since 1994. Over the years, we have acquired expertise in the development of non-sterile pharmaceutical products in liquid, semi-solid or suspension form. We are currently looking for a candidate to manage Groupe Parima’s production department.

The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring that production, warehousing and shipping activities are carried out efficiently and rigorously, in compliance with costs, established quality standards, GMP, OHS, and defined schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the timely and complete delivery of products to our customers, including supervision of order processing, planning, production and shipping.
  • Responsible for developing excellent customer service and fluid communication including regular virtual meetings.
  • Lead weekly meetings, motivate and support production and customer service teams in a demanding environment, including follow-up problem solving.
  • Implement career development plans for direct reports.
  • Act as a representative of the company, demonstrating strict adherence to company values.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity while reducing cost per unit, and eliminating errors.
  • Work closely with support departments to ensure production is aligned with customer expectations, quality standards and business compliance,
  • Manage consumable and employee budgets and provide reports to senior management for target achievement.

Skills and experience required:

  • Three or more years of proven success in a production management role
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or related field
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams, a can-do attitude and the ability to maintain harmonious relations between different departments despite sometimes divergent interests.
  • Experience in managing improvement projects
  • Experience in managing and working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
