Manufacturing Operator

The Manufacturing Operator participates in the manufacturing of the products. Stages include weighing, formulation, transfer, cleaning, assembly and disassembly of equipment and administration of files. He takes part in activities related to research and development and also participates in the disinfection and sampling of purified water.

Work schedule: 7:00AM to 3:15PM

Responsibilities:

  • Documentation of manufacturing, cleaning and verification activities
  • Responsible for maintaining the storage of raw materials in an orderly and safe manner
  • Participate in the review of manufacturing files for products in development
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of yields, manufacturing and cleaning methods by communicating observations and suggestions to the production supervisor
  • Perform periodic sampling of the rinsing water from the manufacturing tanks
  • Support cleaning validation and process validation activities
  • Participate in packaging operations when required

Skills and experience required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent completed
  • Ability to lift 20 kg regularly
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in the production of cream, ointment and liquid (weighing, formulation) in the pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry
  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology (an asset)
